Overdraft Protection is a feature that can be added through an application to Tangerine Chequing Accounts to help cover occasional shortfalls in your Account. It covers most everyday transactions, including cash withdrawals, pre-authorized payments, cheques and debit purchases, up to your approved limit. If your Account is short of funds, your Overdraft Protection will automatically kick in to help you avoid having transactions declined or being charged a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee.
